As we come to the end of 2024, Glad Group is proud to reflect on an incredible year of progress, growth, and achievements. These milestones are only possible through the trust, collaboration, and partnership we share with our valued team members, customers and stakeholders.

This year’s success wouldn’t be possible without our cleaning, security, maintenance, concierge and integrated teams on the ground who continue to deliver for our customers, day in and day out, taking pride in their work and going above and beyond to provide the best possible service for our communities. As a family business, we’re so proud to see this reflected in our staff survey results, with 93% of respondents saying they understand how their work contributes to the success of the company and 88% saying they are proud to work at Glad Group.
Welcoming key strategic hires
This year, we welcomed several key strategic hires to drive our business forward and deliver for our customers, including:
- Aatef Khayat, Head of Business Transformation: Driving innovation across our people, process, and technology platforms.
- Michael Hall, Head of Auxus: Bringing over 25 years of property experience to deliver customer-centric solutions that optimise asset performance.
- Leif Gould, Head of Security & Key Accounts: Rejoining Glad Group to enhance our security division with 25 years of industry expertise.
- Alex Mazzoni, National ESG Manager: Leading our ESG strategy to support sustainability initiatives for our customers.
We restructured our security division by appointing a National Manager for Training & Quality Assurance to drive national growth and introduced a new HR framework with dedicated HR Business Partners for each site, reflecting each site’s specific needs and operations.
Serving our customers with trust, transparency and in partnership
Whilst growing, we remain steadfast in our commitment to serving our customers uniquely as a privately-owned, family-run business. Trust, transparency, and partnership continue to underpin our approach, creating a network of productive and passionate on-site teams for our customers and we’re delighted with to retain, and grow, long-term contracts, including:
- Integrated services at GPT’s Karrinyup Shopping Centre in WA
- Maintenance services for GPT’s office portfolio in VIC
- Premium concierge at 101 Collins Street in Melbourne’s CBD
- Office precinct security and cleaning contracts across NSW and VIC
- Cleaning services at 66 Eagle Street in Brisbane
- Retaining our cleaning and security services at key Mirvac assets, including 275 Kent Street and 400 George Street in Sydney
Tangible progress in sustainability
We progressed from a Bronze to a Silver EcoVadis Rating, and we’re delighted to be a certified CAF Prequalified Contractor, highlighting our dedication to fair and safe work conditions for our cleaning teams. Additionally, three customer assets – EastCo (VIC), Westpoint Shopping Centre (NSW), and 275 Kent Street (NSW) – achieved the CAF 3 Star Standard, joining Eastland Shopping Centre (VIC) and Castle Towers (NSW).
Supporting communities
We’re delighted to be the only property services company officially partnered with Two Good Co, a social enterprise supporting women with lived experiences of domestic violence and homelessness. This partnership strengthens our social procurement efforts by sourcing washroom consumables that directly benefit local communities. T––his Christmas, we proudly sponsored their Love Through Lunch initiative, providing three-course meals for women in crisis.
Strengthening our operational excellence
Our National Operations Centre (NOC) retained its Grade A1 ASIAL Certification, a testament to our rigorous standards and commitment to operational excellence.
