Modern Slavery

Our approach to human rights and modern slavery is articulated in our Human Rights Commitment and is supported by our:

  • Code of Conduct
  • People & Culture policies including Diversity and Equal Employment Opportunity and Discrimination Policy
  • Sustainable Procurement Policy and Supplier Code of Conduct

Modern Slavery is a serious violation of an individual’s dignity and human rights and is also a serious crime under Australian (and international) law. We have a zero-tolerance approach to Modern Slavery and are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and forming transparent and trusted relationships with our stakeholders to ensure there are appropriate grievance and remediation frameworks in place.

This approach is supported by implementing and enforcing effective governance, and management systems and controls to mitigate the risk of Modern Slavery occurring in our own operations or supply chain.

We’ve published our sixth Modern Slavery Statement, which sets out the actions taken and how we’re continuing to prioritise minimising the risk of modern slavery within our operations and supply chain. We have prepared the statement is response to the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth) and it covers the activities of Glad Group for the year ending 30 June 2025.
