Recognising our tradespeople this National Tradies Day
Friday 19 September marks National Tradies Day – and we’re proud to celebrate the hardworking team behind Glad Maintenance.
Our tradespeople are the backbone of our maintenance division, working across electrical, plumbing, building works, fire safety, project management and more. Whether it’s planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, or complex asset upgrades – the Glad Maintenance team delivers it all with reliability, pride and care.
From emergency lighting and car park repairs to tenancy fit-outs and electrical compliance audits, our people bring professionalism, skill and attention to detail to every task. They operate across Australia’s most premium commercial, retail and residential properties – trusted by leading clients such as Scentre Group, GPT, Charter Hall, QIC and JLL.
A day to recognise real work, real impact
Today we thank the tradespeople who are up before dawn, working through weekends, public holidays and peak periods to keep our buildings safe, compliant and running smoothly.
We recognise leaders like:
- Adam Volkers, with over 18 years in the industry leading our diverse team of over 70 skilled tradespeople
- Anthony Wall, managing key contracts in NSW across a range of trades and skills
- Admin Fejzic, overseeing high-performing maintenance teams across Melbourne’s CBD
- Jack Bentley, mentoring young apprentices while managing complex electrical projects
- Valentina Stevanova, ensuring smooth coordination and reporting across all works
And the dozens of technicians and apprentices delivering quality every single day
Together, they form a team of more than 70 skilled professionals – supported by 30 vehicles on the road and Glad Group’s 24/7 National Operations Centre.
Building more than assets
At Glad Maintenance, we believe in growing careers as much as we build capability. With apprentices like Mason Clarke and Kaylan Prince Peckham coming through our Indigenous employment partnerships, the future of our industry is in good hands.
We’re proud of the team we’ve built – diverse in background, united by standards.
To our tradespeople – thank you. Your work keeps buildings safe, tenants happy and our communities moving. Happy National Tradies Day.
