Our team operates with sophisticated electrical switchboards, installs and maintains safety lighting for large commercial and retail sites, and undertakes maintenance and electrical projects. This specialised work requires comprehensive training to respond effectively to electrical incidents. Each year, our maintenance team undergoes first-aid training to handle low-voltage shocks and administer first aid efficiently including toolbox talks on ensuring best work practices on job.
Specialised Training with St John Ambulance NSW: A few months ago, St John Ambulance NSW conducted a Low Voltage Rescue training session at our Sydney Head Office. This critical training program is designed to equip our team with the skills and knowledge necessary to safely rescue individuals exposed to electrical shocks or those trapped in low-voltage environments. The program included both practical and theoretical components, allowing our team to refresh essential lifesaving skills and engage in situational training that mirrors potential real-life scenarios.
Safe Work Environments: We continuously assess and enhance our work environments to ensure they meet high safety standards. This includes regular equipment checks before starting the work day, comprehensive safety training, and maintaining all necessary safety measures.
